In an interview with Entertainment tonight after the show aired, he said, “This is what I was hoping for. This is what I prayed for.”
“Literally, I’m a nine year old boy dreaming of chasing the things I love. Falling in love with magic, and here I am years later, standing on the stage and hearing my name called out as the winner of this show , it’s just crazy, ”Tavella said. “This is more than I could have ever asked for or dreamed of.”
Each of Tavella’s magic tricks he performed on AGT had a theme. In his final round of the season, he reminded the audience that “they are the magic”.

Tavella also reminded viewers of the “power to give.”
“Donation is the foundation for change,” he said. “Give of your time, give your resources, give yourself. You see, when someone stepped into my parents’ life, because they were ready to give, it changed the course of their future, which in turn changed the course of mine. And that impact has now reached our two boys. And thanks to that person, I can stand on this stage and do what I love. “
“It’s like a little thing is going on,” he added. “Something this small can become so much more than we expected. It is the power to give.”
Earlier this summer, Tavella discussed her faith with YouTube personality Ruslan.
“When I can celebrate God’s standards, when I can celebrate the things that God has done in our lives… that is, for me, the main thing we want to do,” he said. “It’s about continuing to be intentional with every story we tell and every airtime.”
Tavella has also been involved in a homeless ministry and pregnancy crisis ministry in recent years, according to Christian titles.
We trust God
On his Facebook and Instagram pages, the magician confessed that he was not a social media guy. However, he posted a photo of himself and his son Alex on June 15 on his Facebook page with a short post on how he wants Alex to see that it’s possible to pursue your dreams.
“We are thankful for the little things, we look beyond discouragement, we hold on to hope, we trust God and we continue to love!” he wrote. “We not only inspire the world with our success, but also with our failure. Xander has seen me fall many times. I want to be the kind of dad who keeps smiling because my joy comes from so much more than my achievements / circumstances What God can accomplish in a human heart is far more precious than anything this world could ever offer It is the foundation of our family, and it is the foundation of our joy.
