Seaside Heights officials announced Monday that the borough will host its first-ever Halloween Fest next month, with a boardwalk, activities and special guests.

The event will be tenuous Friday and Saturday 22-23 October (times indicated below). It will take place on the “Boo-Walk” and in the Carousel Petrified Pavilion. Visitors can check in with vendors on the promenade as they dance on the Monster Mash. Traveling Magicians will mystify with their skill – and you never know what spooky characters are lurking around you!

The “Petrified Pavilion” includes the tunnel of terror. Outside is Ecto 1, the famous vehicle from the Ghostbusters movie franchise, including the new Ghostbusters Afterlife coming in November. The Hemi Hearse will make an appearance (and you never know who may be inside).

Inside the pavilion, visitors will experience spooky makeup lessons, cartoons, and photo ops with the Ghostbusters vehicle. Participants can shop among vendors for toys, comics and more. Popcorn, candy, and food will be available for sale. There will also be a square of pumpkins to buy a pumpkin with a decoration table.

“We are delighted to present a family Halloween event this year for everyone to enjoy,” said Mayor Anthony Vaz. “We will continue to host even more events at Seaside Heights throughout the year. “

Tickets cost $ 5 and are required for ages 5 and up. All tickets must be purchased online; no tickets will be sold on site. Tickets are time specific as there is a capacity limit for the pavilion. One hour must be preselected. The event will take place on Friday October 22 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday October 23 from noon to 10 p.m. All details and ticket purchases are available on this link.

All proceeds will go to the Seaside Heights Historical Museum and Resilient Minds On The Front Lines, two registered non-profit organizations.
