Joint congress in Italy, 2007
2007 represents a key step towards the collaboration between the
Italian Society of Ecology (SItE) and the Italian Association of
Limnology and Oceanography (AIOL). The two societies have decided to
organise a joint congress (18th congress of the AIOL and 17th congress
of the SItE). The congress, held in Ancona from 17 - 20 September 2007,
will be dedicated to the presentation of the most
recent scientific advancements in the fields of ecology, limnology and
oceanography. One important focus of the congress will be the
identification of the inter-connections between environmental sciences
and the human society.
